"Follow, Work, Lead: Patterns of Discipleship & Mentoring in Scripture" will study the nature of discipleship through the lens of mentorship. The content will use the various relationships in the Bible as case studies and examples for measuring effective relationships that facilitate growth in a cross-generational manner. Nine different relationships in scripture will be studied and each approached from a practical theological perspective, working through the four tasks of practical theology: descriptive, interpretive, normative, and pragmatic. Led by Jesse Silva, this class will meet on Wednesdays, January 15 through May 14, from 6:30 to 8 pm in Room 313.
