Corey Gummelt is a Texas native, and he and his wife, Tenley, have two children, Lathem and Everson. He attended Brookhaven Community College and East Texas Baptist University, where he played baseball. Corey graduated with a masters degree from Dallas Baptist University in 2017. He's had the privilege of working with students, from camp to full-time student ministry, for the last 12 years. He loves to see students lives transformed by encountering Jesus and making Him the center of their lives.
Some of his hobbies include making and drinking coffee, playing and watching sports of all kinds, getting hooked on TV shows, including his favorite, Parks and Rec, and doing projects around the house with Tenley.
